A dental bridge is one alternative to replacing missing teeth.
A bridge is a porcelain appliance cemented into the mouth and is made up of anchoring teeth called “abutments” which support the porcelain false tooth or teeth which are called “pontics”.

Procedure
First appointment: The teeth are prepared to make room for the supporting crowns. An impression (or mould) is then taken for fabrication at Omega Ceramics Dental Laboratory. You will visit the ceramist where the porcelain bridge will accurately colour match your natural teeth. A temporary bridge is fitted to protect your prepared teeth whilst the final bridge is being made.
Second appointment: The temporary bridge is removed and the final bridge is permanently cemented into place.
